Braised Potato with Tuna

A simple side dish where the combination of soft potatoes and tuna is excellent. It tastes even better when eaten with rice.

What You'll Need

Potato3
Onion1/2
Green onion1 stalk
Tuna (small)1 can
Garlicas needed
Cooking oil1 tbsp
Gochujang1 tbsp
Jin (brewed) soy sauce2 tbsp
Starch syrup3 tbsp
Red chili powder2 tbsp
Tuna sauce1 tbsp
Pepperas needed
Sesame oilas needed
Sesame seedsas needed

Instructions

Cut the potatoes in half and then into thick pieces, then soak them in water.

Add a tablespoon of cooking oil to a pan and stir-fry the sliced potatoes and minced garlic.

Place the sliced onion, green onion, and canned tuna on top of the stir-fried potatoes.

Add 1 cup of water, 2 tbsp jin soy sauce, 1 tbsp gochujang, 3 tbsp starch syrup, 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp tuna sauce, and pepper, cover with a lid, and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and finish by adding sesame oil and sesame seeds.
