Instructions

Peel the lotus root and soak it in water with vinegar to prevent browning and maintain a crunchy texture.

Slice the prepared lotus root and carrots diagonally.

Grease a frying pan with oil and stir-fry the sliced lotus root and carrots until the color changes.

Add water, cooking wine, sugar, and soy sauce to the stir-fried lotus root and carrots and braise.

Add the beef brisket in the middle of the process and continue to braise while basting until the liquid reduces.

When the liquid is reduced to a glaze at the bottom, turn off the heat and place on a plate.
