Stir-fried Dried Pollack

What You'll Need

Dried pollack strips70g
Raw sugar1 tbsp
Green onion1 stalk
Cooking oil3 tbsp
Onion1/5 piece
Garlic3 cloves
Cheongyang chili pepper1
Red chili pepper1
Dark soy sauce3 tbsp
Oyster sauce1 tbsp
Grain syrup1 tbsp
Potato starch1 tbsp
Raw sugar2 pinches
Sesame seeds1 tbsp

Instructions

Soak the dried pollack strips in cold water, shake lightly, and squeeze out the water to remove the unique odor.

Cut the dried pollack into about 4 pieces and coat them with 1 tbsp of raw sugar.

Cut the green onion into 1cm intervals and slice the 1/5 onion into 3 pieces.

Roughly chop the Cheongyang and red chili peppers, and crush the garlic using the side of a knife.

Make the sauce by mixing 3 tbsp of dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce, and 1 tbsp of grain syrup.

Heat cooking oil in a pan and add the green onion and onion to create a scallion-infused oil.

Adjust to medium heat, then add the sugar-coated dried pollack to the stir-fried green onion and onion and stir-fry.

Coat the dried pollack with 1 tbsp of potato starch, then pour in the prepared sauce and mix lightly.
