Dumpling Hot Pot

A super simple dumpling hot pot recipe that warms the body with a hot broth

What You'll Need

Frozen dumplings1 bag (10 count)
Onion1/2 piece
Baby napa cabbage3 leaves
Green onion1 stalk
Shiitake mushrooms2 pieces
Cheongyang chili pepper2 pieces
Red chili pepper1 piece
Egg1 piece
Waterapprox. 5 1/2 cups (1000ml)
Soup soy sauce3 tbsp
Minced garlic1 tbsp
Flower salt1/3 tbsp
Pepper powdera little

Instructions

Take out 20% of the frozen dumplings for seasoning, place them on one side of the pot, and let them thaw.

Split the green onion in half and cut into 7cm lengths, similar to the length of the dumplings.

Cut the baby napa cabbage and onion into 2cm thick strips, similar to the width of the dumplings.

Slice the shiitake mushrooms thinly to about 0.3cm thickness.

Slice the Cheongyang chili peppers and red chili peppers diagonally.

Arrange the dumplings in the center of the hot pot and cover them so they are not visible.

Arrange the prepared green onion, baby napa cabbage, and onion in an alternating pattern around the pot.

Pour 1000ml of water into the pot and start boiling.

Season with minced garlic, soup soy sauce, flower salt, and pepper powder.

When the broth boils, crack the egg into the empty space in the center of the pot.

Top with the prepared Cheongyang chili peppers and red chili peppers as garnish.
