Instructions

1

To wrap the roll, place plastic wrap over the nori, then use a rolling mat to wrap it.

2

Cut the nori along the long side, and place it so the shiny side faces outward to make one roll.

3

To add the rice, shape it into a round ball, cut it in half, and spread it roughly by moving it up and down.

4

Press lightly only on the parts where the rice hasn't touched to spread it evenly.

5

If you want flying fish roe or sesame seeds on the outside, sprinkle them now.

6

Flip the nori covered with rice over, and prepare to place the ingredients with some space at the bottom.

7

Lay down the crab sticks first.

8

Add the cucumber, cut into appropriate sizes so it retains its texture.

9

Hold the nori so the ingredients don't spill out, position the inner edge of the nori just outside the ingredients, and pull slightly.

10

If the plastic wrap is dry, it may stick to the rice, so lightly dampen the cutting board.

11

If the rice at the end doesn't stick well while rolling, hold the edge of the nori and press it with your hand.

12

Wipe the knife with a damp cloth to keep it moist.

13

Cut the roll by pulling the knife in one long motion without too much back-and-forth, then remove the plastic wrap.

14

Arrange neatly on a plate and serve with mustard sauce, mayonnaise, or avocado.
