What You'll Need

Beef for shabu-shabu300g
Onion1/2
Napa cabbage3~4 leaves
Enoki mushroom1 pack
Green onion1 stalk
Shredded burdock roota handful
Tofu1/2 block
Soaked glass noodlesa handful
Cooking wine60cc
Black sugar60cc
Soy sauce90cc
Water500ml

Instructions

Add 60cc of cooking wine to a bowl.

Add 60cc of black sugar to the bowl.

Add 90cc of soy sauce to the bowl.

Add 500ml of water to the bowl to complete the sukiyaki sauce.

Place the soaked glass noodles in the pan.

Sear the surface of the tofu with a torch until golden.

Pour all the sauce into the pan.

Cut the napa cabbage into thick diagonal slices and add to the pan.

Cut the green onion into thick diagonal slices and add to the pan.

Add the enoki mushrooms as they are to the pan, and cut the onion into thick chunks and add to the pan.

Make cuts in the shredded burdock root, then shave it like sharpening a pencil and add to the pan.

Add the seared tofu to the pan.

Turn on the heat and boil the pan containing the ingredients.

When the vegetables are slightly cooked, add the shabu-shabu beef (with blood removed) without overlapping and boil.

When foam rises from the meat, skim it off with a spoon.

Whisk an egg to prepare the dipping sauce for the sukiyaki.
