What You'll Need

Beef brisket400g
Green onion2 stalks
Korean radish500g
Oyster mushrooms200g
Bean sprouts300g
Red chili powder5 tbsp
Coarse salt1/2 tbsp
Soup soy sauce5 tbsp
Tuna fish sauce4 tbsp
Ssamjang2 tbsp
Minced garlic1 tbsp

Cooking oil2 swirls
Sesame oil2 tbsp

Instructions

Slice the beef brisket thinly against the grain, cut into two pieces, place in a bowl, and toss with salt and flour.

Cut the radish into thin, bite-sized rectangular pieces (nabak-seolgi).

Slice the green onions in half lengthwise and cut into 5cm lengths.

Trim the ends of the oyster mushrooms and tear them into bite-sized pieces.

Wash the bean sprouts in water and remove any loose hulls.

Pour two swirls of cooking oil and the sesame oil into a pot, preheat, and stir-fry the flour-coated beef brisket.

Add the sliced radish and stir-fry together.

Add the red chili powder and stir-fry.

Pour in the water and bring to a boil.

Once the broth boils, add the bean sprouts, prepared green onions, oyster mushrooms, minced garlic, soup soy sauce, tuna fish sauce, ssamjang, and coarse salt.

Cover with a lid and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
