Separate the wheat rice cakes one by one and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes to soften them.

Cut the square fish cake into long strips.

Chop the green onion.

Slice the onion.

Pour 3 cups of kelp broth into a pot, add 1 tbsp of red pepper powder, 2 tbsp of red pepper paste, 3 tbsp of dark soy sauce, and 1 tbsp of sugar, and mix well.

Turn on high heat and boil until the broth in the pot bubbles.

Add the sliced onion, green onion, and square fish cake to the boiling broth and boil for a while.

Add the soaked wheat rice cakes and boil until the rice cakes are cooked and the seasoning is absorbed.
