Sesame seeds1 tbsp

Instructions

Wash the deodeok thoroughly, cut in half, and peel the skin along the grain.

Flatten the peeled deodeok with a rolling pin, and tear larger pieces in half.

Finely chop the chives.

In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp of red chili paste, 1 tbsp of fine red chili powder, 2 tbsp of coarse red chili powder, 2 tbsp of jin soy sauce, 3 tbsp of cooking wine, 1 tbsp of minced garlic, 1 tbsp of sugar, 2 tbsp of starch syrup, and 1 tbsp of sesame oil to make the seasoning sauce.

Mix 2 tbsp of jin soy sauce and 2 tbsp of sesame oil, brush evenly over the prepared deodeok, and grill on a pan.

Season the grilled deodeok with the prepared sauce, adjusting the amount to your taste.

Add the chopped chives and 1 tbsp of sesame seeds, mix well one last time, and finish.
