Stir-fried Zucchini

A savory stir-fried zucchini recipe seasoned with flower salt, garlic, and perilla oil instead of salted shrimp.

Wash 2 zucchinis thoroughly, cut off the ends, split them in half, and slice them thickly on a bias.

Add 3 pinches of flower salt to the sliced zucchini, toss well, and let it marinate slightly to draw out moisture.

Cut 1/2 onion, 1 stalk of green onion, and 1/2 red chili into thick pieces similar in size to the zucchini.

Turn on the heat for the pan and add 2 tbsp of perilla oil over medium-low heat.

Add 1 tsp of minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant.

Add the marinated zucchini to the pan and stir-fry without rinsing.

Add the onion and a little bit of Mi-won (or half a teaspoon of sugar) to the pan and stir-fry.

When the zucchini becomes translucent, add the sliced green onion and red chili and stir-fry together.

When the zucchini is fully cooked, turn off the heat and sprinkle with 1 tbsp of sesame seeds to finish.
