Quail Egg Jangjorim

A super simple quail egg jangjorim that becomes the perfect side dish when eaten with buttered rice.

What You'll Need

Boiled quail eggs1kg
Purified water4 cups
Soy sauce1 cup
Brown sugar1/2 cup
Whole garlic10

Instructions

Wash the boiled quail eggs under running water to prepare.

Add 1 cup of soy sauce, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and 4 cups of purified water to a pot in that order.

Remove the stems from the whole garlic, slice them into large pieces or cut in half, and add to the pot.

Remove the stems from the shishito peppers and prepare them either sliced into large pieces or whole according to your preference.

Finely chop the Cheongyang chili peppers to prepare.

Add the washed boiled quail eggs to the prepared pot and turn on the heat.

Boil over high heat, and once it starts to boil, cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
