Instructions

1

Remove the frozen chicken legs from the package, wipe off the blood frequently, and place them in a plastic bag to thaw.

2

Remove any remaining blood from the thawed chicken legs by covering them with plastic or placing them on a plate.

3

Use a regular kitchen knife to make slits in the chicken skin.

4

Use a serrated bread knife or similar tool to make slits in the chicken skin so the marinade penetrates well.

5

Make a basic marinade base by adding an appropriate amount of gochujang, soy sauce, and sugar.

6

Complete the marinade by adding curry powder, smoked paprika powder, cinnamon powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

7

Add an appropriate amount of chicken stock and oyster sauce to enhance the umami flavor.

8

Add a little lemon juice and mix to adjust the consistency of the sauce.

9

Apply the sauce evenly over the chicken legs, ensuring no spots are missed.
