Instructions

Drizzle two tablespoons of cooking oil into a pan and sear the pork front leg over high heat to make the surface crispy and add color.

Place the bottom part of the pork front leg in first and sear for about 2 to 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Rotate the pork front leg to sear all four sides until golden brown.

Transfer the pan used for searing the meat to a larger pan.

Cut the onions in half, divide them into thirds, and place them under the meat.

Cut the green onions and add them, along with 10 cloves of garlic.

Thinly slice one piece of ginger and add it.

Add 200ml of water.

Add a very small teaspoon of sun-dried salt.

Add 120ml of soy sauce.

Add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.

Add 200ml of soju and 500ml of cola.

Cover with a lid and boil for 50 minutes. Flip the meat halfway through at 25 minutes.

After 50 minutes, open the lid and remove the finished suyuk.

Remove the remaining ingredients from the pan, turn the heat back on, and reduce the broth over high heat for about 5 minutes.

Put the suyuk back in and simmer for 5 minutes on each side while basting with the broth.
