Squid Jjamppong

A recipe for spicy and rich squid jjamppong that tastes like it came from a specialty restaurant, using onions and squid.

Instructions

Thinly slice 300g of onions.

Remove the innards of the squid, make zigzag cuts 3mm deep, and remove the innards, eyes, and mouth from the tentacles.

Add 1TB of cooking oil and 1TB of chili oil to a pot and turn on the heat.

Add 150g of the sliced onions to the pot and stir-fry.

Add 1TB of minced garlic and 1/2TB of soy sauce and stir-fry together.

When the onions wilt, add the prepared squid and stir-fry until the color of the squid changes.

Add 1TB of red chili powder and 1TB of water and stir-fry.

Add 1 cup (240ml) of water and bring to a boil.

Add black pepper to taste, 1ml of MSG, and 1TB of liquid chicken stock, then boil.
