Instructions

Clean the LA galbi to remove bone dust, and prepare it by soaking it in water to remove blood and help tenderize the meat.

Pour 8 cups of bottled water and 1 cup of cooking wine into a bowl, add the prepared LA galbi, and soak for 20 minutes to remove blood and odors.

Combine the pear, onion, garlic, Cheongyang chili peppers, kelp-infused water, soy sauce, starch syrup, and sesame oil in a blender and blend until smooth to make the marinade.

Add starch syrup to the blended marinade to adjust the consistency and sweetness, then finish the sauce.

Pour the finished marinade generously over the soaked LA galbi and mix evenly.

Place the marinated LA galbi in a pan without overlapping and start grilling over high heat, braising it so the sauce absorbs.

Once the ribs are golden brown and the sauce has reduced, it is ready to serve.

Place the finished LA galbi on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions, whole sesame seeds, and thread chili.
