Cut 400g of onions into thick chunks, using regular onions, not shallots.
Cut 100g of napa cabbage into large, rough pieces.
Slice the ginger thickly instead of mincing it, just to add fragrance.
Add 4 tbsp of cooking oil to a pot and heat over high heat.
Add 1kg of mussels to the pan and stir-fry over high heat.
Add the prepared onions, napa cabbage, and ginger along with the mussels and stir-fry over high heat.
⏱️ 3m 0sAdd red chili powder to taste and stir-fry together.
Pour in 2.5 liters of water and boil over high heat.
Season with 0.5 tbsp of salt and 0.5 tbsp of MSG, then let it boil.
Continue boiling until the broth is rich and deep to complete the jjamppong soup.
