Stir-fried Dried Pollack and Almonds

A healthy side dish made simply and deliciously with dried pollack, almonds, and garlic as the main ingredients, without soy sauce or gochujang.

What You'll Need

Dried pollack100g
Almonds100g
Garlic10 cloves
Olive oil4 tbsp
Salt4 pinches

Instructions

Gently rub and wash the dried pollack under running water, squeeze out the moisture, and cut into bite-sized pieces (about 3cm).

Remove the stems from the garlic and slice them thickly.

Prepare the almonds for easy roasting.

Marinate the pollack and almonds separately with 4 tbsp of olive oil; add 1.5 pinches of salt to the garlic, 4 pinches to the pollack, and a little to the almonds.

Place a pan on the stove, start on high heat, then lower to medium heat once hot, and add the marinated pollack first to start stir-frying.

When the pollack becomes golden and cooked, add the marinated almonds and stir-fry together over medium-high heat.

When the pollack and almonds are well-roasted and golden, add 1 tbsp of sesame oil.

Turn off the heat, add 2 tbsp of honey, and mix well.

Finish by topping the stir-fried pollack and almonds with chopped green onion.
