Place 1kg of tendon in a pot and blanch in boiling water to remove excess blood.

Remove the blanched tendon and wash away any blood and impurities.

Place green onion, garlic, ginger, half an onion, and a thumb-sized piece of black ginger into the rice cooker.

Add the prepared tendon to the rice cooker and run the cooking cycle for 40 minutes to simmer thoroughly.
