What You'll Need

Commercial soybean paste2 tbsp
Cooking wine2 tbsp

Large green onion1 stalk

Instructions

Cut the pork belly block into sizes that fit the length of the pot.

In a bowl, mix the commercial soybean paste and cooking wine to create a marinade.

Evenly spread the marinade over the surface of the pork belly block.

Slice the onion into thick rounds and place them at the bottom of the pot.

Slice the apple into thick rounds and place them in the pot as well.

Cut the green onion into long pieces, crush slightly with the back of a knife, and spread them out in the pot.

In a thick-bottomed pot, layer the vegetables in the order of onion, apple, and green onion, then place the marinated pork belly on top.

Place the whole garlic and whole peppercorns on top of the pork belly, and cover with the remaining green onion.

Turn the heat to high until you hear a sizzling sound, then reduce to low heat once the pot is hot.

Cover with a lid and simmer for 50 minutes.
