Stir-fried Round Squash

What You'll Need

Round squash1 (600g)
Large green onion1 stalk (10cm)
Onion½ (100g)
Red chili pepper1
Minced garlic1 tbsp
Salted shrimpAppropriate amount

Instructions

Cut the round squash in half, then in half again, stand it up to cut in half, and then cut into appropriate bite-sized pieces.

Place the cut squash in a bowl, sprinkle with about half a teaspoon of salt, mix, cover with plastic wrap, and cook in the microwave for 4 minutes.

Slice the green onion diagonally, and cut the half onion into quarters and then slice those.

Slice the red chili pepper diagonally as a garnish.

Heat a pan, add about 1 tbsp of oil, and once hot, lower the heat slightly and stir-fry the onion and green onion.

After stir-frying the onion and green onion for a bit, add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and stir-fry together.

Add the microwave-cooked squash and about 1 tbsp of salted shrimp, then stir-fry while mixing.

Add the red chili pepper and stir-fry for about 3 more minutes.

Finish by adding half a tablespoon of sesame oil and half a tablespoon of sesame salt.
