Non-Fishy Braised Bada (Dab)

What You'll Need

Bada (Dab)2 fish
Radish300g
Green onion1/2 stalk
Cheongyang chili pepper3
Onion1 small
Minced garlic1 tbsp
Jin soy sauce4 tbsp
Gochujang (red chili paste)1 tbsp
Doenjang (soybean paste)a little
Black pepper powdera little
Cooking wine2 tbsp
Fish sauce1 tbsp
Oligosaccharide1 tbsp
Red chili powder2 tbsp
Water1 paper cup (180ml)

Instructions

Peel and clean the semi-dried bada.

Slice the radish thinly and spread it on the bottom of the pot.

Julienne the onion and slice the green onion thinly.

Place the cleaned bada on top of the radish in the pot.

Pour one paper cup of water (180ml) into the pot.

Make the sauce by mixing minced garlic, jin soy sauce, gochujang, a little doenjang, cooking wine, fish sauce, oligosaccharide, red chili powder, and black pepper powder.

Finely chop the Cheongyang chili peppers and spread some on the bottom of the pot for seasoning.

Evenly spread the prepared sauce over the bada and radish.

Top with the sliced green onion and the remaining Cheongyang chili peppers.

Turn the heat to low and braise for 20 minutes.
